Chefs prepare made-to-order sandwiches from a red-brick pizza oven using quality local meats & cheeses. In true corner store fashion, Lou’s sells coffee, pastries and a stock of smokes, snacks, candy, newspapers and magazines, as well as an all-day menu of comforting rotisserie fare to stay or go. Early risers can enjoy Intelligentsia Coffee and pastries from Swedish Hill. At 11am, in-house rotisserie is added to the all day offerings, including porchetta, beef, chicken, and cauliflower, served by the plate or family-style with homemade dipping sauces. Salads, sandwiches and sides round out the offerings, such as saffron Texmati rice, sticky Brussels sprouts and cole slaw, with frozen custard topped with salted caramel, sour cherries, pistachio brittle or warm chocolate mocha for dessert.

Pool Burger's 1968 Airstream serves griddled all-natural, hormone-and-antibiotic-free wagyu beef on homemade buns.
